  Gathering 2012 Dates Announced!

Yep, it's official!

The SLAY Radio Gathering is going to happen again in 2012 and it will be on the first week in August!

SATURDAY AUGUST 4th is the main day, with a barbecue at Keillers Park (weather permitting) in the daytime and the get-together in the function room of Kville Biljard in the evening.
FRIDAY AUGUST 3rd will, of course, be the Unofficially Official Pre-Gathering Gathering in the evening in the main room of Kville Biljard.

Of COURSE we should have realized that there's something BIG happening in London around the same time - namely, the 2012 Olympics! This, unfortunately, is making airplane tickets to/from the UK rather expensive.

We understand that this may make travel for UK-based listeners difficult and we would like to apologize in advance. What we have decided for the moment, however, is that we are going to continue hosting the Gathering on the same date, to go with tradition. If the travel expenses are really too high this year, we're sorry, but rest assured that there will be another Gathering next year!

Legal age for entrance to Kville Biljard (which counts as a pub) is 18 years, just so you know. Sorry to you younger listeners out there, but 18 is the minimum age to enjoy the full evening!

A0D, The Lex and /me booked Kville Hotel. Urf (a.ka. De Tron) Booked Kville also and will handle flight over booking for the gathering. Wheeeee The Dutchies seem to be there again.
